A.  Whirlpool systems offer a massaging sensation as water is pushed against your body in a sootheing manner.  Whirlpool systems are commonly used by customers that enjoy a deeper tissue massage for acheing muscles and advanced hydrotherapy.  Air massage systems produce large bubbles from the bottom of the tub to enhance water circulation and provide a light massage.  Air massage systems are commonly used by customers that enjoy bath salts and oils.

Q.  What sort of electrical requirements do I need to meet to properly install my bathtub?
A.  We recommend a 20 amp -110 volt breaker for each electrial system installed on your bathtub.  If you have a whirlpool and inline water heater installed we recommend having 2 seperate breakers.  If you have a whirlpool, inline water heater and air massage system we recommend having 3 seperate breakers.

Q.  Why do I need access to the underside of the bathtub?
A.  Access to the underside of the bathtub is recommended in case there is a need for servicing the electrical, plumbing or foundation of the bathtub after installation.  This access may be located in the bathroom or an adjoining room or closet.

Q.  Why is there no overflow hole drilled on my tub?
A.  On most of our bathtubs we do not predrill the overflow hole.  From experience this can cause problems when customized plumbing needs are present in your bathtub that are not consistent with the normal location for an overflow.

Q. Can my tub be under mounted?
A.  Yes - for just about every model.  Please contact us if you are planning an under mount installation for your bathtub.  There are some helpful tips regarding how to support the material that is mounted on top of the tub.  Please make sure that you brace under the tub perimeter appropriately.

A.  We offer our 100% lucite acrylic in white and biscuit colors.  Both are a semi gloss finish.  The easy way to decide is by matching your other plumbing items like sinks, toilets, etc.  If they are white then choose white.  If they are off-white, bone or biscuit colored then choose biscuit.
